RENTAL CONDITIONS
Minimum hire: 3 days
Minimum age: 21 years For the car groups B-E, G, K and M
25 years for all other car groups
National driving license must be at least one year old
Locally a registration fee of 1.57 € per day has to be paid for a term of lease of maximal 18 days
The rental car of the AVIS Company can be picked up at the airport of Lamezia Terme
(times of hiring: 9 a.m. – 11.15 p.m.) On weekdays the delivery of the car to your hotel is possible on requenst and at an extra charge (Usually 22 €/delivery)
Please indicate the exact time and place of pick up and return when you book the car! The rental day begins from the time you pick up the car!
The lease price also includes both fully comprehensive insurance and insurance against theft
The excess in the event of damage amounts to 850 € for the car groups B-E, I, J and N.
In case of theft the excess amounts to 1,700 € for the same car groups.
By closing extra insurances it is possible to exclude any kind of excess.
Locally a bailment is necessary (per credit card). Your credit card will only be charged in case of damage or any other noncontractual incidences.
We accept: American Express, Diners, Mastercard, Visa or AVIS Charge Card, Air Travle Card.
Common Conditions for hiring a car without credit card:
1.The security guarantee, which had to be paid cash at the AVIS station, amounts to 2,550 €
This amount is put together as follows:
Excess for fully comprehensive insurance for car group B: 850 €
Excess for theft insurance for car group B: 1,700 €
2. On request it is possible to contract an additional insurance (Exclusion of excess in case of damage or theft). In this case the security guarantee is reduced to 150 €. The fees for the additional insurance amount 23 € a day for car group B and have to be paid on location.
All cars of the AVIS Company are max. 2 years old and are maintained regularly
